The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
