WHere is a home-style version of a cocktail found on a new menu. Designed as a party-sized premix that is loaded with the essence of a festive period, rendering it ideal for your celebration. Reserve the remaining cordial for morning drinks, puddings, or to make more rounds of this cocktail.

Serves 10 people
To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Premix (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Put every components inside a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the heat allowing it to cool entirely. Pour into an clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for up to four weeks.
Preparing the Premix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for one hour, then filter it preferably using a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Add 85ml of the batch mix into a stirring glass filled with ice, and agitate carefully for one minute to cool it down. Filter into an cold coupe glass or similar, garnish with the cranberries and complete it using a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
